    Porophyllum Coloratum

Also known as Papaloquelite, 'Papalo' is still somewhat unknown, we are excited to offer to our customers. This amazing herb is quite popular in Hispanic communities where it is used like cilantro. What makes this herb so exciting is its taste ~ these large bluish green leaves are a delicious mix of cilantro, cucumber, arugula and citrus! A delicious addition to any Mexican dish: salsas, guacamole, fish dishes and tacos! It's generally used raw, and added to dishes just before serving. In many establishments, this herb is placed on the table as a centerpiece for diners to pick as they want and add fresh herbs to their dishes.

Papalo is easy to grow and DOES NOT BOLT like it's cousin, Cilantro!

Papalo is also claimed to have a medicinal effect. Many people believe it helps lower blood pressure and help stomach problems. For folks at high elevations, this herb is used as a daily tonic.
