Sage makes a wonderful potted plant, either as an ornamental or as a culinary herb. The plant is an easy to grow herb, either indoors or out with interesting and attractive foliage that brings a big, robust flavor to any dish.
Sage is easy to grow, as long as you provide bright, indirect sunlight (6 to 8 hours a day) and allow the soil to dry out between waterings. And, by all means, USE the leaves in all of your dishes that call for a strong and earthy flavor; enhancing the flavor of meats, pork, sausage and stews. Chopped leaves pair well in salads and cheeses.
