'Route 66' features large, bold, bicolor daisy like blooms. A vibrant burgundy center which also bleeds out to the edge of the yellow petals. Narrow deep green foliage forms many uniform clumps. It is an easy grower and has proven reliable to survive zones as cold as 5. The plants produces vigorous blooms 2 inch in size. This is a great plants for beginners as it is very easy to maintain. Attracts butterflies!
Coreopsis or nicknamed Tickweed - Route 66, grows best in full sun and prefers well drained soil. Can tolerate dry conditions once plant is established. Cut back in late summer to encourage regrowth and rebloom. This showy plant will bloom from early summer through the late summer giving you color all season long!
