      Herb Description

Hardy Hibiscus has many names: Swamp Rose Mallow, Rose Mallow, Crimson-Eyed Rose Mallow, Marshmallow Hibiscus... these are all Hibiscus moscheutos. These beautiful bloomers are native to wet, marshy areas from Massachusetts all the way down to Florida.

The blooms that are produced by Hardy Hibiscus will take your breath away with large, dinner plate sized flowers. The white petals with a deep red center is definitely an eye catcher!

Hardy Hibiscus will start blooming Mid-Summer into Early-Fall. Individual blooms do not last long BUT a larger plant can produce up to 20+ blossoms a day!
