Light: Be sure to plant in full sun. If indoors, place in a very sunny windowsill.
Temperature: Hardiness Zones 8-11
Watering: Give your Lemon Verbena a good watering when it is dry to the touch. It will not tolerate constant sogginess.
Soil: Lemon Verbena loves well-drianing soil of average quality.
Comments: Keep the plant in a sunny location, let it dry slightly between watering, pinch back for bushy growth and enjoy it year-round. In the garden or in the window sill, lemon herbs are a must for both the cook and gardener.
All Purpose Lemon Verbena - Vinegar Spray
Herbal sprays have two major benefits: they are comprised of one main ingredient, whatever cleaning agent you choose, so you are not paying for all of the other additives, packaging and marketing. In addition, the fresh herbs that you choose leave a lingering fresh smell that reminds you that you are living a 'greener life'!
We love the fresh, lemony scent of Lemon Verbena, and this non-toxic spray can be used on almost any surface. It is not recommended for any porous stone surface (marble or granite). An herb vinegar spray can be used almost anywhere and for any job, especially in the kitchen and bath.
